One Crucial Fact God Revealed about Replanting.

During this season of Covid-19, I have become what Instagram labels a “Hashtag Plant Mom.” To say the least, it’s a challenging but rewarding experience that has taught me about patience and seasons.

What I did not know.

One crucial fact that I was initially completely unaware of was that moving or transferring plants to another place during specific seasons could lead to shock as your plant struggles to establish its new home. Why is this exactly? It’s because the plants depend on their roots to funnel water through their branches to feed and bloom. I went wrong in disturbing my plants in the Summer season when they were full of flowers. I cut off their steady flow of water in my amateur attempts to give them a prettier planter to flourish in, but mainly to go with my aesthetics.

I don’t know if Lady Leah McNair knew the full context of what she spoke, “I’m replanting you!” but I heard God with clarity. The best time to transplant a plant is when it’s dormant. This phase gives it time to establish roots and build up nutrients before starting the next growing season. And when is a plant dormant? In the Fall and Spring!

Co-Heirs, it is Fall! Many of us joined the circle for growth because we have been in our dormant season for far too long! We are alive, but our growth is slow. Our normal physical functions have been suspended or slowed down! It’s as if our gifts, our prayer life, our faith have been in a deep sleep!

Speak God

Oh, but that season is over because God spoke and said, “I’m replanting you! I think you look better over here. I know you will blossom over there! Though this may not be the typical place to plant, it’s my plan for you. Don’t worry about the areas and locations everyone other than you seem to be blossom in; I am doing a new thing in you. Do you not perceive it? “

It’s a new season for us all, but a new level of commitment for me in my second season of 21 days. Whatever I do will prosper because I have established Proverbs 16:3 in my heart, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”

Bloom Sis, bloom!
